How I'm \"unique\"!

Let me introduce you to a few of my faults...

Three things that make me different:

· I was born with ptosis: one eye was closed so I had an operation at age 3 to open it, but it has a hard time closing now! Resulting in dry eye and sore shoulder from sleeping on that side (some days).

· I have big ears... my paternal grandfather had big ears and only a few people per generation are blessed with the ears. I'm one of them. I joke that I can receive 237 channels, but I still remember my siblings calling me a little monkey when my mom cut my hair over my ears...

· I think about going to the bathroom a little too much. I think my mom made me self-conscious about it when I was little. She told everyone I was constipated when I didn't really understand what that meant. Part of me feels like I always need to defend myself. That has resulted in me thinking about No. 2 way too much.

I have so many more "issues", but what I like to do is to change that title of "Three things that make me DIFFERENT" to "Three things that make me SPECIAL".

Can you make your own list?

When you look at it, do you realize that these "faults" are part of your personal contribution to the world? Everything on that list is what makes you special.

Celebrate these differences (which you might be self conscious about - like me) because they are part of what make you uniquely YOU.

Cheers to you today!
